Contrast to Clarity by Kidest OMૐ

Each moment offers you the opportunity to expand out of contrast and move into a state of clarity. Each moment you are given the option to move from focusing on what you don’t want to be experiencing to what you can be experiencing. As you go through your moments, your mind is creating an endless list of judgments and preferences. You may mentally be resisting what’s arising and wanting something different.
It’s in these moments of contraction that you want to bring your conscious ability to engage with yourself into play. You can consciously move yourself from the perceived contrast into a state of inner relaxation by asking yourself: what is it that I am wanting to experience? What can I let go of resisting in this moment?
Experiencing even the slightest bit of contraction within yourself in any moment moves you into a fuzzy state of focus. Your mind becomes congested with resistant thoughts and the way you experience your moment is obscured because of the inner tension that is arising. The moment you notice that you are experiencing tension, you can make the choice to consciously engage with how you are observing and interacting with your moment.
You can ask yourself:
What do I think I am experiencing right now?
What am I saying I don’t like about this moment?
What do I want to be experiencing right now?
By simply choosing to engage with yourself, by checking in with how you are focusing in any given moment, you empower yourself into choosing the states of mind you experience. You can again and again step into more resourceful and useful states of mind and states of being by looking inward and noticing how you are mentally focusing on whatever is showing up in your world.
You are always powered from within in each and every moment.
